Somewhere in here, there's CHRISTIAN GREY

SOMEWHERE IN HERE, THERE’S CHRISTIAN GREY

Outside of three of my readers, I have heard all sorts of disappointment from my readers here in light of casting choices. Please don't take this lightly. There are 175 countries who reads this blog as of this morning and that's quite a few lamenting fans.

Admittedly, I have not expected the particular cast of our most favorite characters in the movie, I want to give them a chance to prove themselves as Christian and Anastasia. As you know, I have from the beginning been portraying Kivanç Tatlituğ who is a blond in full knowledge that he was never going to audition for the part. I knew that all my readers had a different favorite for the role and some of you were going to be disappointed when the casting was concluded. Along the way some of you rejected Kivanc, but then a lot of you grew accustomed seeing him here on my blog and he was accepted at least here, in this medium. Some of you even made the effort to know who he is. Now the casting is finalized. I was hoping that at least one of the favorites would get the part, but a big part of me knew that wasn't going to be the case. Somehow, I was closer to casting choice with my blond actor portrayal. I'm looking forward to seeing how they will mold him into Christian Grey that we've come to love so much.

I am also hoping that these actors will fill the very big shoes of Christian and Anastasia. I’ve collected several pictures of Charlie. He has the physique expected of Christian. But I know you were all expecting a different face as opposed to Charlie's rugged, action movie actor appearance. As long as he can take Christian's character traits and express them, his looks can be transformed and molded into Christian we expect to see.

Let’s all try to take a breath. The decision is made. I know that most of us will see the movie regardless. I will… Just as I explained to you in the example of Pride and Prejudice. Many movies have been made based on that one particular book. None of the interpretations diminished my love for the Pride and Prejudice.

At this point, let’s address the movie makers: We have solid ideas about how Christian Grey should be, because we've been dissecting his character for nearly two years. We’re confident that you will transform Charlie Hunnam to look like Christian Grey (swoon worthy, women should look at him and not be able to take their gaze away from him) and behave like Christian (dominant, in control, confident, and used to getting his way: the Alpha male among other Alphas-and I’m sure my readers will add to this list in their comments). We may be disappointed in your choices in the beginning; but that's not because we think of Charlie or Miss Johnson untalented, but because we’ve not much seen them in action and have not considered for our favorite character as far as their looks as a match to Christian and Anastasia were concerned. Don’t think us as unimaginative. We’ve been waiting this movie for a long time. Word of advice: DON’T SCREW IT UP! I will see the movie, and so will most of us.

To my readers: Please give the movie the chance you have given me. Give the actors the chance to grow into the characters we love so much. Look; it took me a while to properly express Christian Grey, and you have been understanding, helpful and most loyal which I absolutely appreciate. Your dedication helped me to be a better writer. Let’s do the same for these actors so they do a good job in creating our favorite characters.
